Robinson) Assistant Professor University of Texas Astronomy Department 1 University Station C1400 Austin, TX (512) sdr@astro.as.utexas.edu Research Areas Planetary archaeology I use telescope spectroscopy to chemically analyze stars and their orbiting dust, reading the fossil record of planet growth. Planet formation I perform supercomputer simulations of the dynamical and chemical environment of planet growth to explain the size and composition of known planets.
