The upeconducting phae tanition i caued hee by the on-ite inta-obital attaction (negative-u Hubbad model) and inte-obital pai-tanfe inteaction. The dependencie of citical and noncitical coelation length on inteaction channel and band filling ae analyzed. PACS: 74..-z, 74..Mn, q I. INTRODUCTION Multi-component upeconductivity model, developed moe than fifty yea tating fom the pape 3, include athe vaied phyic. In connection with the peence of inteacting ode paamete the main popetie of the multi-band ytem ae quite diffeent fom the coeponding chaacteitic in ingle-band upeconducto. The examination of thee peculiaitie ha been an object of gowing inteet. The vaiou multi-component theoetical cenaio have been applied fo a numbe of upeconducting mateial (ee Ref. 4 7 and efeence theein). The eeach activity in thi diection ha been epecially timulated by the acceptance of the multi-gap upeconductivity in MgB 8, cupate 9 and ion-aenic compound. In paticula, the deivation of high-quality upeconducting egion fom oxygen odeing, obeved ecently in La CuO 4y, uppot the multi-band theoetical cenaio of upeconductivity in cupate. In the peent contibution we tudy the coheency of the upeconducting odeing of a two-band(two-obital) ytem with the negative-u Hubbad inta-obital paiing and inte-obital pai-tanfe inteaction. One can ditinguih hee two chaacteitic length cale in the patial behaviou of upeconducting fluctuation. One of thee length a a function of tempeatue behave citically diveging at the phae tanition point. The othe one emain finite and it tempeatue dependence i weae. The fomation of thee length cale i caued by the inteband inteaction mixing the upeconducting ode paamete of initially non-inteacting band. A a eult the citical and non-citical coheence length aociate with citical and non-citical fluctuation (ee e.g. Ref. 3,4) which appea a the cetain linea combination of the deviation fom the equilibium band upeconducting ode. Conequently, thee length cale cannot be attibuted to diffeent band involved 5 (ee alo Ref. 6 8). Ou eult have been obtained uingtheupeconductingnegative-u Hubbadmodel 9 fo a two-obital ytem on a two-dimenional lattice. II. TWO-ORBITAL MODEL OF SUPERCONDUCTIVITY We tat with the Hamiltonian of the two-obital model of the following fom: H = t ij ( ε µ) δ ij a i a j i,j U n i n i i, U a i a i a i a i, (), i whee a i (a i) i the electon ceation (detuction) opeato in the obital =, localized at the ite i; i the pin index; t ij i the hopping integal; ε i the obital enegy; µ i the chemical potential; U < i the inta-obital attaction enegy; n i = a i a i i the paticle numbe opeato; U with i the inte-obital inteaction enegy. The tanfomation of the Hamiltonian (Eq. ) into the ecipocal pace leave u with the expeion H = ε () µa a U a N (q) a,, q a ( q) a, () whee ε () i the electon band enegy with a wave vecto, aociated with the obital and N i the numbe of lattice ite (numbe of atom). Fo the deciption of patially homogeneou upeconductivity one intoduce the equilibium mean-field Hamiltonian (the tem which do not contain opeato have been omitted) H mf = ε ()a a ( a a h.c.) (3)
2 with ε () = ε () U n µ. (4) Hee the aveage numbe of electon pe ite n = N a a (5) H mf detemine the poition of the chemical potential µ and... H = Z Sp...exp( H/ B T) denote aveaging pocedue, whee Z i a patition function, B i the Boltzmann contant, and T i tempeatue. The homogeneou equilibium upeconductivity gap ae defined a = N U a a Hmf. (6) The Eq. (5) and (6) hould be olved elf-conitently. It i eay to find that a a = ε () H mf E () tanh E () (7) B T and whee a a Hmf = E () tanh E () B T, (8) E () = ε (), (9) The ytem of gap equation (6) may be now peented in the fom with = U ζ (T, ) () ζ (T, ) = (N) E () tanh E () B T, () The citical tempeatue of the phae tanition T c in the two-gap upeconducto (Eq. ) unde conideation i detemined by the following condition U g (T c ) U g (T c ) U g (T c ) U g (T c ) = () with g (T c ) = ζ (T c,). The calculated 3 dependency of upeconducting phae tanition tempeatue T c on band filling n i depicted in Fig.. A expected, Van Hove ingulaity peent in the middle of the band, i eflected a a pea in T c fo half filled ytem (n = ) whee the chemical potential µ pae thi ingula point. The upeconducting gap a tempeatue function ae hown in Fig. fo vaiou inte-obital inteaction and band filling. Note that fo faily low tempeatue (T << T c ), and ae imultaneouly caled by diffeent inta-obital inteaction U ii (U U ) and the denity of tate aound the chemical potential µ (de-

Thi i a conequence of the inte-obital poximity effect. III. GINZBURG-LANDAU EQUATIONS In the non-homogeneou ituation one ha to etain the non-zeo momentum of Coope pai in the Hamiltonian (Eq. ) which can be ewitten a H = ε () µa a U a N a ( q),, q a ( q) a. (3) The Bogoliubov theoem detemine the uppe limit fo the fee enegy of the ytem F B = B T ln(z mf ) H H mf, (4) ( ) Z mf = Spexp H mf B T H mf (5) by mean of the non-equilibium mean-field Hamiltonian H mf = ε ()a a ) (δ q a a( q) h.c. (6),q with non-equilibium upeconductivity gap ode paamete δ q. The fee enegy uppe limit F B can be found a an expanion in powe of δ q and q. Afte the minimization of F B and cetain tanfomation one can obtain the ytem of equation fo the non-homogeneou upeconductivity gap () (the Ginzbug-Landau equation) in the following fom: () = U g (T) ν (T) () l,l = β ll (T) (), (7) x l x l wheel efetothecateianaxianddithe dimenion of lattice. In Eq. (7) g (T) = N ε () tanh ε () B T, (8) ν (T) = N E () tanh E () B T =,(9) β ll (T) = 4N tanh ( ε () B T By uppoing futhe that one obtain { q l q l ) tanh ε () ε ( q) )} ( ε ( q) B T. On the bai of Eq. (8) we have two olution fo,,(t) = G(T)± G (T) 4K(T)γ(T) K(T), (9) whee G(T) = ( U ) g (T)β (T) g (T)β (T) U g (T) U β (T) U g (T) U β (T), (3) K(T) = U g (T) U g (T) γ(t) = ( U ) g (T) g (T), (3) U U ( U ) β (T)β (T). (3) The eult of ou pecific two-dimenional lattice calculation of and veu T/T c ae peented in Fig. 3. The oft o citical coheence length (T) divege at the phae tanition point T = T c, while the igid o non-citical coheence length (T) emain finite (ee Fig. 3). Futhemoe, fo faily mall inte-obital inteaction U =. one can notice that how the econd maximum (ee the pea of in Fig. 3a and the ieof withloweingt infig. 3c)athememoyabout the lowe tanition tempeatue in the intependent obital(the one with malle inta-obital attaction). Such a behaviou i abent fo tonge inte-obital inteaction. Additionally, it i woth to notice that the coheence length i much lage fo n =.75 that fo n =. (ee Fig. 3a,b and 3c,d epectively). Thi i again the effect of the denity of tate. Evidently, Van Hove ingulaity cale tongly T c and othe upeconducting paamete including the coheence length. V. CONCLUSIONS We conideed two obital upeconducto with a mall inteaction coupling poducing poibility of the Coppe pai tanfe between obital. The ytem have been modelled by the negative-u Hubbad model on the two dimenional lattice. The obtained two value of the coheence length eflect the multi-obital mechanim of upeconductivity and could have ome conequence in pecific patial popetie of uch a complex upeconducting tate 5, Ou eult how that band filling tongly effect on the coheence length. Epecially, Van Hove ingulaity peent in the denity of tate play an impotant ole in caling the coheence length. The tempeatue dependence of the coheence length in ou lattice model confim the imila calculation in the continuou ytem. One olution divege nea the phae tanition point, while the othe one i non-citical. The nonmonotonic tempeatue dependence of coheence length i moe ponounced if the inte-obital coupling i ufficiently wea.
