1 PILLOBALL Spherical Bushins - Insert PILLOBALL Ro Ens - Insert PILLOBALL Ro Ens - Die-cast PILLOBALL Ro Ens - Maintenance-free Structure an Features PILLOBALLs are compact self-alinin spherical bushins that can support a lare raial loa an a bi-irectional axial loa at the same time. These bushins are classifie by sliin surface types, namely, insert type, ie-cast type an maintenance-free type. In the insert type, a spherical inner rin makes contact with the special copper alloy bushin with superior run-in properties. In the ie-cast type, a spherical inner rin makes irect contact with the bore surface of the boy of special zinc ie-cast alloy. In the maintenance-free type, a spherical inner rin makes contact with the special PTFE liner of maintenance-free type. Thus, a smooth rotational an oscillatory motion can be achieve with superior anti-wear an loain properties in each type. PILLOBALL Ro Ens have either a female threa in the boy or a male threa on the boy, an they can be easily assemble onto machines. PILLOBALLs are use in control an link mechanisms in machine tools, textile machines, packain machines, etc. The maintenance-free type is especially suitable for loain in one irection an is the best choice for machines in which oil must be avoie such as foo processin machines, or machines which cannot be re-lubricate. It consists of a spherical inner rin, an outer rin, an a bushin of special copper alloy with superior run-in properties inserte in between. The spherical surface of the inner rin is chromium plate after heat treatment an rinin. This type is assemble with a shaft an a housin. When especially lare raial an/or axial loas are applie, Spherical Bushins with molybenum isulfie (M0S2) treate inner an outer rins are recoene. (See pae 2.) Lubrication PILLOBALL Ro Ens Insert PHSPOSPHSB an POSB This type has superior anti-wear an anti-corrosion properties as well as hih riiity. It consists of a spherical inner rin of which spherical surface is chromium-plate after heat treatment an rinin, a boy with a zinc chromate treate outer surface, an an inserte bushin of special copper alloy havin superior run-in properties. This type inclues PHS an PHSB, which has a female threa in the boy, an POS an POSB, which has a male threa on the boy Lubrication PILLOBALL Ro Ens Die-cast The spherical inner rin of this type is mirror-finishe after heat treatment an is built in a boy of ie-cast special zinc alloy. The sliin surfaces of the inner rin an boy are in close contact with each other. Thus, this type is an economical ro en with superior anti-wear an loain properties. Maintenance-free PILLOBALL Ro Ens PHS ECPOS EC This type has superior anti-corrosion properties as the boy is zinc chromate treate an the spherical inner rin is chromium plate on the sphere surface after heat treatment an rinin. A special PTFE liner, reinforce with copper alloy meshes, which is superior in anti-wear properties with little creep eformation is use for linin on the sliin surface of the boy, an this type is maintenancefree. PHS EC, which has a female threa in the boy, an POS EC, which has a male threa on the boy, are available. 3 Maximum Operatin Loa The recoene value of bushin loa is obtaine by multiplyin the ynamic loa C by a numerical factor, which iffers epenin on the bushin type an loa conition. For PILLOBALL Ro Ens, the static loa must also be consiere in eterminin the applicable bushin loa. Table shows the uielines for maximum operatin loa of PILLOBALLs.
