In this wok, the mathematical modeling and compute simulation fo hollow membane G-L contactos is caied out to analyze SO absoption behavio in hollow fibe membanes. The model is solved with the finite element method using a commecial softwae. Investigated is the dependency of SO emoval efficiency and mass tansfe chaacteistics on gas velocities, membane mass tansfe coefficients and physical popeties of contactos. The membane mass tansfe coefficients ae estimated by fitting the expeimental data with the simulated SO emoval efficiencies. In addition, a design methodology of membane contactos is suggested.
