6 Long-term Socio-Ecological Research Platform Questions are framed in a holistic way Jointly among researchers from different disciplines Jointly with stakeholders (policy makers, companies, local actors ) Research is carried out By using approaches and methodologies applicable to the question(s) By including stakeholders into the research process LTSER platform is a large, diffuse area for socio-ecological research and for interdisciplinary collaboration It has researchers of several disciplines It has a jointly prepared long term research plan Local stakeholders are included in the research
