29 Quality Control of Biofertilizers and Organic Fertilizers ( to ) 29
30 Year Till biofertilizers and organic fertilizers were not any regulatory mechanism. Quality analysis was taken up to monitor the overall quality scenario for information to user Departments and agencies. i. Biofertilizers Out of total 2007 samples received and analyzed 463 (23%) samples were found to be substandard. Details of Biofertilizer samples analyzed for quality ( ) Sl. 31 Year Biofertilizers and Organic fertilizers included in FCO The Ministry of Agriculture Deptt of Agriculture & Cooperation notified the biofertilizer & Organic Fertilizers under FCO-1985 through the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part-II, Sr. No 276 Section-3 sub-sention (ii) published by the authority on 24 March This included specification of Biofertilizers like Rhizobium, Azotobactor, Azospirillum & Phsphate solublising microorganism & Organic fertilizers like City compost, Vermi compost & Pressmud. i. Biofertilizers During year a total of 1705 sample of different biofertilisers were analyzed, out of which % samples were found sub-standard. The Centre wise detail of Quality testing is as under. 32 Year Quality control of biofertilizers and Organic manures The details of biofertilizers and organic fertilizer samples analyzed during the year are as follows: i. Biofertilisers - During year a total of 1907 sample of different biofertilisers were analyzed, out of which 0.89 % samples were found sub-standard. The Centre wise details of Quality testing is given below. Sl. Table 21. 33 Year The details of biofertilizers and organic fertilizer samples analyzed during the year are as follows: i. Biofertilisers - During year a total of 1234 sample of different biofertilisers were analysed, out of which % samples were found sub-standard. Biofertilisers - During year a total of 983 sample of different biofertilisers were analysed, out of which % samples were found sub-standard.
