Ltd Chifeng Inner Mongolia China Abstract Pengboshan area locates in the eastern Tianshan -Yinshan structural belt belonging to the Tianshuijing -Wuzhuergashun -Yagan metallogenic belt. The gold mineralization in the area is strong and single in type. 66 uni-element abnormities was delineated on the basis of the soil geochemistry survey data of the studied area. 4 multi-element anomaly was delineated in accordance with the results of the clustering analysis of each element and the overlap situation among multi-element anomalies. Considering the characters of soil geochemistry anomaly locations of soil geochemical assemblage anomalies and relationship of anomaly with geological bodies and ore-veins we have delineated and verified 3 prospecting target zones and have achieved an excellent ore prospecting effect.
