1 Wild Weather Poster Project By: Jane Feener Jane Feener

2 Thank you for purchasing my wild weather poster project. I have used this assignment each year as part of my weather unit. Students are very proud to show off their final posters. At my school we display the students finished posters at our open house. Check out more products coming soon at my TPT store Feener Graphics by: Angie Wenke ( and Digi Web Studio ( Fonts by: Frames by: MayPLDigitalArt on Etsy andhop:// Teaching- In- A- Small- Town Backgrounds by: happyprintsshop.etsy.com Jane Feener

3 Wild Weather Project Instructions 1 Copy page 4 (Wild Weather Poster) and page 5 (How to make a poster) back to back or double sided. 2 Copy page 6 & 7 back to back or double sided. The poster planning organizer can be used by students to record important informazon about the weather system they are researching. If you wish to save paper students could also record the results of their research in their science notebooks. 3 This assignment could be completed during class Zme or assigned as a homework project. I usually have students start the project and complete the research in school and then the students take their informazon and make the actual poster at home. I have nozced that when students have been able to use the supplies found at home it results in more creazve posters. I usually ask students to complete their posters on a half sheet of poster board or bristol board. 4 Make copies of the rubric to assess student s posters. 5 You can have students display their posters and/or present them to the class.
