2 INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE The purpose of this booklet is to provide an answer to the problem of how to get THERE from here. This directory includes all schools which participate in competition with NorthWood Middle School athletic events. 3 BREMEN 700 W South Street LIONS Bremen, IN GREEN/YELLOW Take US 6 to Bremen exit SR 331 South. Turn left at the light. Go two-three blocks and turn right. The school is 1-2 blocks south after you turn. Both streets will take you to the school which is 1-2 blocks south of the main street in Bremen. Distance: 8 miles CONCORD CR 11 MINUTEMAN Elkhart, IN GREEN/WHITE Take SR 19 N to County Road 26. Turn right on County Road 26 go to County Road 11. Turn left on County Road 11. The next crossroad is County Road 11 and County Road 24. The school is on the northwest corner. Distance: 18 miles DISCOVERY Brummitt Road ARCHERS Granger, IN FOREST GREEN/OLD GOLD Take SR 19 North to US 33. Go west on US 33 to County Line Road (Ash Road). Turn north on Ash Road. Stay on Ash Road until you cross the Toll Road. The school sits on the northwest corner of Ash and Brummitt Roads. Distance: 25 miles

4 EDGEWOOD 900 S Union TIGERS Warsaw, IN ORANGE/BLACK Take SR 19 to US 30 and get off at SR 15 South. Go through town on SR 15 until you come to the curve on the south side of town. Turn right at the school sign. Go 1 block, turn right again. Go ½ block and turn left. (This is a one-way street). The school is right there. Distance: 30 miles ELKHART EAST Elkhart Central High School For Swimming 1 Blazer Blvd. Elkhart, IN Take SR 19 to US 20 bypass east to US 33. Go to Main Street N to Prairie. Turn right on Prairie to Blazer Blvd. Turn right on Blazer Blvd. The school will be on the left. Distance: 14 miles ELKHART WEST Elkhart Memorial High School For Swimming 2608 California Rd.. Elkhart, IN Take US 19 to California Road. Go west approximately ½ mile. The school is on the north side of the road. Distance: 12 miles

5 GOSHEN County Road 21 REDSKINS Goshen, IN RED/WHITE Take SR 119 East of US 19. The school in on the corner of SR 119 and County Road 21. Distance: 10 miles GRISSOM Kern Road GUARDSMAN Mishawaka, IN RED/WHITE Take SR 19 North to County Road 28 (Kern Road). Go west on County Road 28 to Elm Road. The school is on the corner of Kern and Elm Roads. Distance: 8 miles INDIAN SPRINGS 1692 SR 9 S EAGLE STAR Columbia City, IN MAROON/SILVER/GOLD Take SR 19 to US 30 East to Columbia City. Take SR 9 South; the school is approximately 2 miles south of US 30. Distance: 50 miles JIMTOWN County Road 3 S JIMMIES Elkhart, IN MAROON/GOLD/WHITE Take SR 19 North to the second stop light near Hubbard Hill Retirement Community. Turn west (left) on County Road 24 until it terminates at County Road 3. This school is southwest of the junction of County Road 24 and County Road 3 on County Road 3. Distance: 17 miles

6 JOHN J. YOUNG 1801 N Main Street JAGUARS Mishawaka, IN WHITE/MAROON Take US 19. Turn left on US 33 (Main Street) in Mishawaka; turn north (right) on Main. Approximately 1/4 mile on right is the school. Distance: 26 miles LAKEVIEW TIGERS 848 E. Smith Street Warsaw, IN ORANGE/BLACK Take SR 19 to US 30 East. Get off on SR 15. Go south five stop lights. Turn left onto Winona Avenue to Scott Street. Turn right on Scott Street. The school is right in front of you. This is the old Warsaw High School. Distance: 30 miles LINCOLN 220 N Liberty Street RED STORM Plymouth, IN RED/WHITE Take SR 19 to US 6 West to US 31 South. Stay on US 31 to the flashing light. Turn west. Go through the next stop light to the next street (Liberty Street). Go two blocks to Gibson Street, and the school sits right there. Distance: 25 miles MILFORD 611 W. Emeline WARRIORS Milford, IN BLUE/WHITE Take SR 19 to US 6 east to SR 15 South. Go to the laundromat. Turn right. Go to the stop sign and turn left. The school sits on the right. Distance: 14 miles

7 NORTHRIDGE Northridge Dr RAIDERS Middlebury, IN KELLY GREEN/GOLD Take SR 19 to US 20 bypass. Head east on US 20 bypass to Das Essenhause Restaurant. Turn left on county road 16. The school is north of the restaurant. Distance: 27 miles NORTH SIDE 300 Lawrence Street HUSKIES Elkhart, IN KELLY GREEN/WHITE Games are played at the North side Gym which is located north of Elkhart on SR 19 or Bristol Street. Distance: 18 miles PIERRE MORAN 200 W Lusher WARRIORS Elkhart, IN BLUE and GOLD Take SR 19 north to Lusher Avenue. Turn right on Lusher. The school sits between Behham Avenue and Prairie Street. Distance: 14 miles

8 SCHMUCKER Bittersweet Road SPARTANS Mishawaka, IN BLUE/GOLD Take SR 19 North to US 33 which is at the stoplight as you exit the viaduct on SR 19 in Elkhart. Turn west (left) and go through Osceola until you come to Bittersweet Road, Super Clean Car Wash, Burger King on the corner. Turn north (right). The school is approximately 2.5 miles right across from Penn High School. Distance: 22 miles WEST NOBLE 5194 N US 33 CHARGERS Ligonier, IN RED/BLUE Take US 6 East to US 33. Turn South on US 33. The school is approximately 4 miles on left-hand side of the road. Distance: 34 miles WEST SIDE 101 S Nappanee St WILDCATS Elkhart, In RED/WHITE Take SR 19 N to Elkhart. Stay on Nappanee Street over the bridge through the next stoplight. Turn left before going under the crosswalk. School sits right there. Distance: 12 miles

9 WILLOW CREEK 5962 Central Avenue INDIANA Portage, IN RED/WHITE Take US 6 west all the way to Portage. Go past Portage High School to the first major intersection; turn right on willow Creed Road. Go 2 miles and the school is on the left. Distance: 81 miles NORTHWOOD GOLF TEAM: CLEAR CREEK Take SR 19 to US 30 east. Turn south on SR 9 south through Columbia City. Go to SR 114 turn right (west) to 300 S turn left. The golf course is on west side of road. Distance: 50 miles HIGHLAND HILLS South on SR 15, South of Silver Lake on right-hand side. Distance: 28 miles LITTLE BIG HORN Take US 30 North to old US 30. Turn on old US 30 at the K-Mart Store in Warsaw. Go approximately 3miles. Little Big Horn is on the south side of the road. Distance: 28 miles McCORMICK CREEK Located at Stauffer Park in Nappanee. Distance: 8 miles

10 ROBIN HOOD Take SR 19 to County Road 36 turn left (west) on CR 36. Golf course is on right side of the road. Distance: 20 miles SPRING MEADOW FARMS Take SR 19 to US20 bypass east to Middlebury to SR 13. Turn north on SR 13, Spring Meadow Farm is on the right approximately 1/4 mile. Distance: 28 miles STUDEBAKER Take SR 19 N to US 20 bypass west to Ironwood Dr. Turn north on Ironwood to Ewing. Turn left (west) on Ewing to East Clavert. Distance: 22 miles SWAN LAKE Take US 6 West to Tamarack Rd. turn left go south on Tamarack to W4B Rd. turn right on W4B go ¾ mile to Plymouth Laporte Trail turn left on Plymouth Laporte Tail. Swan Lake is on the right side of the road. Distance: 31 miles TRI-WAY Take SR 6 W to US 31 S. Go 1 mile to old 31 S (going to Plymouth). Turn left at Tri-Way Outdoor Theater. The golf course is approximately 1/4 mile on right. Distance: 18 miles
