1 Neutrinos 20 December Alain Blondel DPNC seminar 16 november 1
2 1998 Neutrinos have mass (SuperKamioKande, SNO) The discovery that neutrino flavours transform (Neutrino Oscillations) was a long process initiatedin 1968 and completedin Neutrinos have mass! There is no unique way to incorporate this in the Standard Model It almostcertainlyimpliesthe existence of -- new mass-generation mechanism --new phenomenasuchas right-handedneutrinos possible explanations for the baryon asymmetry of the universeand for darkmatter This opens a deep field of research for many many years Neutrino masses? Mixings? Ordering? Majorana mass term? ev, kev, GeV, TeV,, ZeVRH neutrinos? A first step is the full understanding of the neutrino mixing and in particular the discovery and measurement of CP violation by neutrinos. SHIP, HL-LHC, FCC-ee/hh 20 December Violation de CP = Les antineutrinos n oscillent pas comme les neutrinos Alain Blondel DPNC seminar 16 november 2
