4 HiLight Whether as recessed, surface-mounted or pendant luminaire, the HiLight presents itself as real eye-catcher in the service of architecture. The high-quality, seamlessly processed mounting ring lends a very special and extremely sophisticated character to the lights. The acrylic block with total reflection is a magnificent louvre which emphasises the irresistible image. 4

6 HiLight Features & Benefits An extravagant eye-catcher Clothes make the man. The same applies to lights. This is how the HiLight luminaire range presents itself with its completely new look: All of the HiLight lights are consistently based on the most up-to-date technologies in either warm- or neutral-white light colours. The luminaire range also offers a variety of designs. The extensive range includes recessed, surface-mounted and pendant luminaires in three different sizes with three possible covers: Either an efficient microprismatic cover (fulfils the standards of computer-workstation compatibility in accordance with EN ), an opal acrylic glass plate or a supportive acrylic glass element with total reflection. Upon request, HiLight is available with a centred downlight upon request for a brilliant and accentuated lighting mood. The lights are fully equipped with additional RGB s to achieve the right colour accent in the room. Every version is of course available DALI-dimmable. The aluminium ring of the mounted-surface luminaire is seamlessly processed and during the manufacturing process it is smoothed, chemically matted and anodised neutral. The complex process makes the aluminium ring a real eye-catcher. Fig. 1 6

The effect: the white underside is reflected on the upper side, the underside seems, separated by clear glass, to float. Warm light beam The warm-white light colour of 2700 K of the centred downlight gives the impression of a warm ray of sunshine and at the same time is ensures a sparkling brilliance. Thanks to the colourless anodised and micro-bead structured anti-glare tube, a cut-off angle of 45 is achieved. Optionally, this can also be ordered in any RAL shades. Dark colours enable lower levels of luminance in the anti-glare tube (Fig. 2). The HiLight even fulfils the MINERGIE criteria with an integrated downlight and it remains computer-workstation compatible in accordance with EN in the design with microprismatic cover. Fig. 2 7

8 HiLight Features & Benefits Accessories The accessory parts comprise, amongst others, a casing for embedding in concrete, ceiling fixtures and pendant-tubes. For HiLight, we offer a special dissipative film which ensures that the developing circles of light are offset by the microprismatic cover. So a homogenous light pattern is also achieved for this cover. Colourful The RGB variants immerse light and space in rich tones. The control is via a digital DALI-signal. Programmed light scenarios can be stored in integrated sequencers which then run autonomously in the stand-alone principle (Fig. 3). Fig. 3 8

9 Unique Only select and high quality components are used in the HiLight. Current circuit boards do not satisfactorily fulfil the HiLight requirements. For that reason, a specially designed circuit board is used in thehilight. This enables us to guarantee the best possible light technology in what is also a compact and visually pleasing dimensions. 9
