4 FALL 2017 Other Infrmatin: There will be weekly hmewrk assignments and tw quizzes. The hmewrk assignments, quizzes and exams are nt multiple-chice and are graded by hand. Integral part f this curse is the cmputer lab. We will meet in the Physics Department Cmputer Lab in SI-117A n: W September 6, W September 20, W Octber 4, W Octber 18, W Nvember 1, W Nvember 8 and M Nvember 20. We will wrk prblems in electricity and magnetism by using the sftware MathCad. Yu shuld save yur wrk n the CD/memry stick. On W December 6 each student will give me the CD/memry stick with all the prgrams and a printut f the results. Attendance f all lab sessins is bligatry and is included in the grading f the prject. All exams must be taken. Otherwise the final grade will be F regardless f the numerical grades. Attending the lectures is essential fr the prper understanding f the material. The students are respnsible fr all the material discussed in class. Attendance requirements are stated in the CSU Undergraduate Bulletin.
