2 is one of the leading manufacturing companies of coated abrasives in South-Eastern Europe. Located in Nothern Greece, at an area of 2.000m², of which.000m² are built, Smirdex produces coated abrasives of high quality since 98. Being a family-owned company and thanks to the continuous efforts for improvement by its specialized staff, the company has managed to grow bigger and meet the demanding standards of the industry. Recently a second sophisticated and high-tech production line has been set up, thus increasing the company s capacity to m² per shift. Open to new and evolving ideas the company has managed to deliver high-tech products, which are exported to more than 0 countries worldwide. Today 8% of our products are exported and sold through our dealers abroad whilst % are distributed in the Greek market.

3 Our philosophy... Raw materials All our raw materials come from certified, high quality European suppliers that follow strict technical specifications. The quality control of all incoming goods is done in every delivery thus ensuring the use of approved high quality raw materials. Eco conscious Environment is respected in all organizational procedures. From the product planning stage to the shipment of orders, environmental issues are strictly taken into consideration. Our major goal is to manufacture long-life products thus contributing to the reduction in the amount of global waste. Moreover, we seek for better recyclable packaging and safe waste disposal methods. Respecting the end user of our products we always look for safe and dustfree solutions such as our new line NET 7 ceramic. Production procedure Our two fully automated makers are equipped with sophisticated, on-site electronic systems that ascertain the steady quality of all products thus excluding any chance of discrepancies. New and fast-cutting machinery converts the jumbo rolls to their final product form such as discs, rolls and sheets.

4 Quality matters! Quality control All products are subsequent to strict quality controls and are released only after the approval of the relative department. All testing results are registered and archived and can then be compared to the performance of competitive products. Thanks to the ceramic grains that it contains, Smirdex net is ideal for tougher and more demanding applications such as hard wood and other solid surface materials. It also offers an excellent performance and lifespan on primer sanding. The net fabric structure permits the maximum absorption of sanded particles thus providing dust-free sanding and cleaner surfaces. 7 740 ceramic line HIGHER EFFICIENCY & BETTER PERFORMANCE CERAMIC line offers fast cutting products with improved performance that last significantly longer than the conventional abrasives. A water-based stearate coating provides maximum load resistance, thus extending the life of the product. The Ceramic grains of this line provide long life sharp edges together with better finishing results of the treated surfaces. The 740 Ceramic products are perfect for sanding any type of material, such as scratchresistant varnishes and E-coats, primers and composites eliminating the need for specialty products. Putting increased working pressure becomes easy for the user when sanding with 740 series, thus providing high removal rates.
