Beijing HR Research Center, Beijing , China) Abstract : This study demonstrated that empowerment and training opportunity in HPWS can increase employee satisfaction in both state2owned (SOE) and private enterprises. The influence effect is stronger in SOEs than in pri2 vate. Contrarily, teamwork will undermine employee satisfaction in private companies and have no effect in SOEs. Single2common2method2factor approach was used in the data analysis to control the common methods bias.
