7 SZCZECIN Located in north-western Poland, not far from Germany, Sweden and Denmark, Szczecin attracts tourists with its nautical atmosphere, proximity to the sea, and multicultural history. Its unique charm is due to 15 municipal parks, canoe trails amidst the flood waters of the Oder, lakes which are ideal for sailing, the ubiquitous magnolias, and historic architecture.

9 HOW TO REACH SZCZECIN? BY PLANE The most convenient way to get to Szczecin is by plane. The nearest airport is located in Szczecin Goleniów, but not many countries have this connection. You may also book tickets to: Berlin Schonefeld Berlin Tegel If you decide to go to Berlin the best way is to take a minibus or bus from the airport to Szczecin. The most popular lines are Interglobus and FlixBus. The amount will double if the ride will be after When you call the taxi office you must indicate that you are at the Interglobus/Flixbus bus stop BY CAR You can reach Szczecin by car from major Polish cities, including Warszawa, Poznan, Gdansk, Wroclaw, and also from Berlin. Thanks to its location close to the border and direct link with the German motorway system, Szczecin has the best road connection with Western Europe of all Polish cities. The main route to Szczecin from Berlin is the E28 (German: A11, Polish: A6). The journey takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic. BY TRAIN Szczecin lies on the railway Szczecin-Warsaw and has several convenient direct rail links with major Polish cities, and also with Berlin and other European capitals. Detailed information may be found at: pkp.pl/ BY FERRY Szczecin is about 100km from Świnoujscie Ferry Terminal, where arrives number of ferries from Sweden and Danmark. It takes about 90 minut by car to get to Szczecin. You can also take place in one of minibuses which rides from Świnoujscie Ferry Terminal to Szczecin city center and stop near Hotelu Radisson BLU.
