1 MELWY GRETER MELBOURNE STREET DIRECTORY INTRODUCTION Melway Publishing, a family owned business and the parent company of Melway, Sydway and Brisway, originated from humble beginnings in 1966 as Melway Publishing Pty Ltd with the release of Melway Greater Melbourne Street Directory. Melway quickly established itself as market leader against several longstanding brands and has been the generic term for a street directory in Victoria for over forty years. Melway has established and maintained a reputation for producing multicoloured maps of great clarity and detail. Every edition of this outstanding directory is an updated version of the previous edition, incorporating new streets as well as many helpful features. These regular revisions produce highly accurate and innovative maps giving Melway a strong presence in the market place. Many suggestions and recommendations put forward by readers are incorporated, in keeping with our policy of providing a product that satisfies the needs of the consumer. Melway is a wholly owned ustralian company. The most durable materials and the latest bookbinding technology available are used in production. These superior qualities combine to make the directory a market leader.... NOTE ll references and information mentioned in this questionnaire will be found in Edition 39 of the Melway Greater Melbourne Street Directory.
