The RI of liquid and solid substances is quickly and easily measured using a refractometer. 18 X-ray Structure Analysis X-ray structure analysis provides structural information about active pharmaceutical ingredients and final dosage forms and helps to understand their behavior in the context of the used formulation and under physiological conditions. SAXS is used to obtain relevant information from pharmaceuticals in the solid and in the liquid state, during production and in the final dosage form.
