In which, th systm contol paamts a adjustd by a fuzzy ul basd systm, which is a logical modl of th human bhavio fo pocss contol. Th main advantags of FLC ov th convntional contolls a that th dsign of FLC dos not nd th xact mathmatical modl of th systm, and it can handl nonlina functions of abitay complxity. Th spd contol algoithm is basd on th indict vcto contol. Th laboatd aspcts includ advantags of multiphas induction machins, modling of multiphas induction machins, basic vcto contol and dict toqu contol schms and PWM contol of multiphas voltag souc invts. Th fist cod of a multiphas moto div, known to th authos, dats back to 969, whn a fiv-phas voltag souc invt-fd induction moto div was poposd [].A Fiv-phas moto div possss many advantags whn compad to convntional th-phas IM divs, such as ducing th amplitud and incasing th fquncy of th toqu pulsation, ducing th cunt p phas without incasing th voltag p phas, ducing th oto hamonic cunts, lowing th dc link cunt hamonics, poviding high pow dnsity, outputting mo toqu, and having high liability. Th multiphas induction machins a nomally applid fo high pow applications. Such as lctic aicaft, ship populsion, and lctic/hybid lctic vhicls tc. a pop modulation tchniqu nds to b dsignd to achiv high pfomanc. Th limitation of multi-phas machin is that multi phas moto nds a pow lctonic convt fo phas convsion bcaus th-phas supply is only asily availabl. Howv, in th last two dcads, with th volution of pow smiconducto dvics and pow lctonic convts, th Induction Moto (IM) [2] is also wll stablishd in th contolld-spd aa. A suvy of contol schms fo asymmtical six-phas induction moto divs and associatd mthods of VSI PWM contol is givn in [3]. Dtaild modling appoach is discussd in [4]. It contains basic modls, contol schms in dvlopd fom, and xpimntally obtaind illustations of pfomanc fo vaious multiphas induction moto divs (asymmtical and symmtical sixphas, and fiv-phas machins).th induction moto contol mthods can b boadly classifid into Vcto and Scala contol. In th vcto contol magnitud and fquncy but also instantanous positions of voltag, cunt and flux spac vctos a contolld. In contast in scala contol only th magnitud and fquncy of voltag, cunt and flux linkag spac vctos a contolld. Rcntly scala contol of a fiv-phas induction machin is psntd in [5] and th fild ointd contol fo fiv-phas machin is illustatd in [6-7]. Th spac vcto appoach allows to simplify modling and gulation of both th convt and th machin in taditional th-phas moto div applications. On th oth hand, th dvlopmnt of modn pow lctonic dvics, maks it possibl to consid th numb of phass as a dg of fdom, i.., as on of th dsign vaiabls. Howv, whn th machin is connctd to an invt supply, th nd fo a spcific numb of phass, such as th, disappas. Sinc apat fom th fundamntal spatial fild hamonic, th spac hamonic filds can b usd to contibut to th total toqu poduction thn high toqu dnsity in a multi-phas machin is possibl. In a fiv-phas induction machin a thid hamonic cunt injction can b usd to nhanc th ovall toqu poduction [8]. In a multi-phas machin, with fiv o mo phass, th a additional dgs of fdom, which can b usd to nhanc th toqu poduction though th injction of high-od cunt hamonics. In [9], Toliyat t al. also mntiond that most multiphas motos a dsignd to hav a non-sinusoidal back EMF voltag in od to incas th toqu p amp. Howv, fiv-phas motos hav additional thid spac hamonics. Th sult of this spac hamonic is a considabl hamonic cunt and phas cunt dfomation. To solv this poblm, [0] poposd DTC using spac vcto modulation (SVM). Th DTC of an IM is a powful contol mthod fo moto divs. Using DTC instad of fild ointd contol (FOC) povids simpl implmntation and good dynamic chaactistics [0]. Th FOC of a fiv-phas machin with concntatd winding on th stato with cunt contol in th otating fnc fam has bn potd [7]. Spac vcto puls width modulation (SVPWM) is usd to contol a fiv-phas voltag souc invt fding a div. Only th out lag vctos a usd to aliz th SVPWM. Howv, this mthod has a complicatd contol stuctu and poducs unwantd low od hamonics. Considing th abov mntiond points, a fiv phas IM with a concntatd winding and an almost ctangula wavfom back EMF, is dsignd. In od to injct a tapzoidal cunt wavfom and achiv btt dynamic pfomanc, a nw contol mthod is poposd. Th poposd contol mthod is basd on RFOC and DTC of fiv-phas IM divs. In od to xclud ffct of th 3d hamonic cunt th RFOC mthod is adaptd duing th stady stat, and to maintain dynamic chaactistics th DTC mthod is applid duing th dynamic stat. Among diffnt mthods, spac vcto puls width modulation (SVPWM) is on of th most popula choics du to th asy digital implmntation and bcaus of a btt utilization of th availabl dc bus voltag []. MODELING OF FIVE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR All th studnts of lctical ngining a awa, th phas induction motos will acclat thi loads fom st and aft that thy will un without poducing a doubl lin-fquncy pulsating toqu. A fiv-phas induction machin is build using tn phas blts, ach of 36 dgs in that phass, along th cicumfnc of th stato. Th spatial displacmnt btwn phass is thfo (α=2л/n wh n is a numb of phass n=5) 72 dgs. Th oto winding is tatd as an quivalnt fiv-phas winding, of th sam poptis as th stato winding. It is assumd that th oto winding has alady bn fd to stato winding, using winding tansfomation atio. Th built in induction moto in simpow block st cannot b usd as it cosponds to th-phas only. Sinc th phas-vaiabl modl of a physical multiphas machin gts tansfomd using a mathmatical tansfomation, th numb of vaiabls bfo and aft tansfomation must main th sam. Th machin modl in oiginal fom is tansfomd using dcoupling (Clak s) tansfomation matix [3], which placs th oiginal sts of n vaiabls with nw sts of n vaiabls. CONTROL SCHEME Mthods of spd contol of multiphas induction machins a in pincipl th sam as o thphas induction machins. Ths mthods a namly as constant voltag p htz V/f contol, vcto contol, and dict toqu contol (DTC). Constant V/f contol was xtnsivly studid in th aly days of th multiphas vaiabl-spd induction moto div dvlopmnt in conjunction with voltag souc invts opatd in th conduction mod. In th cnt tims, th mphasis has shiftd to vcto contol and dict toqu contol (DTC).Sinc th cost of implmnting mo sophisticatd contol algoithms is ngligibl compad to th cost of multiphas pow lctonics and th multiphas machin itslf. 4. Vcto Contol Of Multiphas Induction Machins Th basis of vcto contol is th slction of th spd of th common fnc fam. In oto flux ointd contol schm th spd of th fnc fam is slctd as qual to th spd of th oto flux spac vcto. Th oto flux spac vcto is kpt alignd at all tims with th al axis (d-axis) of th common fnc fam, whil q-axis is ppndicula to it. As th oto flux spac vcto is alignd with th al axis its imaginay componnt always mains qual to zo. Fo a symmtical multiphas induction machin with sinusoidally distibutd stato winding, th sam vcto contol schms fo a th-phas induction machin a dictly applicabl gadlss of th numb of phass. Fuzzy logic is concptually asy to undstand. A fuzzy logic contoll consists typically of th stps. Th fist stp is to tak th inputs and dtmin th dg to which thy blong to ach of th appopiat fuzzy sts via mmbship functions. In scond stp is onc th inputs hav bn fuzzifid, w know th dg to which ach pat of th antcdnt has bn satisfid fo ach ul. If th antcdnt of a givn ul has mo than on pat, th fuzzy opato is applid to obtain on numb that psnts th sult of th antcdnt fo that ul. In thid stp th input fo th dfuzzification pocss is a fuzzy st (th agggat output fuzzy st) and th output is a singl numb cispnss covd fom fuzzinss at last. As much as fuzzinss hlps th ul valuation duing th intmdiat stps, th final output fo ach vaiabl is gnally a singl cisp numb. Th stuctu of th spd contol loop is thn as shown in Fig. 8. V. SIMULATION & RESULTS A simulation pogam is wittn using MATLAB/SIMULINK softwa fo an indict oto flux ointd fiv-phas induction moto div. Th moto is simulatd using dvlopd d-q modl in th stationay fnc fam. Th machin is fd by a PWM voltag souc invt and hystsis cunt contol is xcisd upon moto phas cunts. Th div is opatd in closd loop spd contol mod with disct anti-windup PI spd contoll. Th anti-windup fatu sticts th satuation of th intgal pat of th contoll whil woking in th limiting gion.
