14 Financing of IACA In accordance with IACA s s Policy on Contributions ARTICLE XI 1. Notwithstanding the long-term goal to make the Academy self- sustainable, the resources of the Academy include the following: (a) voluntary contributions by the Parties to this Agreement; (b) voluntary contributions from the private sector and other donors; (c) tuition fees,, training workshop and technical assistance fees, publication and other service revenue; (d) income accruing from such contributions, fees, revenue and other income including from trusts and endowments Slide 14

20 MASTER PROGRAMME IN ANTI-CORRUPTION STUDIES (MACS) An international, inter-disciplinary and inter-sectoral programme Concept, History and First Activity: International, inter-disciplinary, inter-sectoral and holistic post- graduate executive programme Part-time, time, 8 modules: 12 days each, on-site / off-site training, real case scenarios Starting with the academic year 2011/2012, around 50 students from all over the globe and all sectors will participate in a two-year on-site/off site/off-site Master programme. They will have the opportunity to learn about different perspectives on corruption from some of the world s s most imminent anti-corruption academics and experts, and scientifically engage in the (re)search( for new solutions Slide 20

21 The launch of the International Anti-Corruption Academy is a milestone in the efforts of the international community to fight corruption. It has great potential to advance the goals of the landmark United Nations Convention against Corruption. If we are serious about tackling corruption, we will use the Academy to the fullest.
