Introduction. 3 The Karen Creek mineral property, tenure # 578618, was staked on March 16, 2008, to follow up on information received regarding an exposed platinum vein within bedrock cutting the Coquihalla River. This three cell claim comprises 63.02 hectares, and is one of several properties staked along the Coquihalla River Valley by its owner, in result of reliable information being received, of an exposed platinum vein in the river s bedrock. Also of interest, is the tracing of gold showings in the Coquihalla river, which may be used to identify the source/s. The work performed on the Karen Creek property was conducted over three dates and on three separate locations within the claim. Map 2, hereto attached, reflects the areas and dates of work. The Coquihalla River region, is more commonly known as the Coquihalla Gold Belt, and well notarized for its gold deposits, occurrences and mines - - the past producing Carolin Mine, Emancipation Mine, and others. The region s geology is heavily influenced by the Hozameen Fault, a serpentine structure stretching from Boston Bar in the north to below the International Border, into Washington State. The underlying bedrock geology of the tenure area, is stated to be of undivided sedimentary rock types. Location & Access Located 12 kilometres northeast of Hope, BC, along BC Highway #5, the Karen Creek tenure is centrally situate on coordinate 121 17 30.7 W Longitude 49 26 21.9 N Latitude, and fundamentally straddles the Coquihalla River. Highway #5 offers excellent access to those areas on the west side of the river, whereas a gravel roadway originating from the Othello Turnoff (Exit #183) offers good access to those portions of the claim on the east side of the river. Though bearing many potholes, said gravel road is passable for 2WD vehicles. In the spring to fall months, many vacationers and ATV enthusiasts enjoy the multitude of rough camping spots the areas affords. Summary Prospecting was conducted on the Karen Creek property on April 11, 2008, May 3, 2008 and September 6, 2008. On the first noted date (April 11, 2008), pan sampling was employed on the Coquihalla River, over the area shown on Map 2, hereto attached, in effort to trace precious metal showings to their source. Approximately 1 ½ cubic metres of gravels were worked, rendering slightly under a litre of cons. These were later processed, with the results as noted in the Conclusions section, in following. On the second noted date (May 2, 2008), pan sampling was also employed on the Coquihalla River, over the area similarly as shown on Map 2, hereto attached. Again, in effort to trace precious metal showings to their source. Approximately ½ cubic metre of gravel was worked, producing slightly under a cup full of black sand cons. The result is noted in the Conclusions section, in following. On the third such date (September 6, 2008), pan sampling was again employed on the Coquihalla River, over the area shown on Map 2, to further establish a pattern in aid to identify the source of precious metal showings along the river. Once again approximately ½ cubic metre of gravel was washed, rendering a cup and a half full of black sand cons. The result is noted in the Conclusions section, in following.

. 4 Conclusion In conclusion, for the areas prospected: On the first noted date, when refined with a blue bowl, combined results from both parties panning, resulted in 0.72 of a gram of fine to small gold, with possible trace of?platinum or other similar colored metal. All the black sand cons remaining, were placed in general collection, and therefore no microscopic evaluations were conducted. On the second date noted, combined efforts in pan sampling, resulted in only a small showing of gold (15 to 20 fine flecks), but this was felt due to the rising water level and not having access to the better gravels, not necessarily commensurate to the location which was worked. Again, the black sands were added to the collection. The third date of noted prospecting, offered better results from behind a few larger boulders, rendering three small nuggets with combined weight of 0.40 gram. And similarly, the black sands were again added to the general collection, for processing at some later date. It is interesting to note that, to the current point of time (from results of this and other work programs in the area), no set pattern can be established for placer showings which might indicate the exact source of its origin. It is, however, suspected there may well be more than one source, and possibly many, within that stretch of the Coquihalla River extending from the bridge crossing the river at Othello Road, up to and including Ladner Creek. Sowaqua Creek and Deneau Creek may also be possible contributors to the fine and small nugget gold found below their mergence with the Coquihalla. In that it is obvious further work in the region is required, the tenure was renewed to facilitate that endeavor.
