INTRODUCTION The property covered by this report consists of a total group of 4 units comprising the CAT group. The claims are located approximately 30 kilometers west of Radium, B.C., just north of the Panorama resort.(figures 1,2). This report covers a combined VLF/Gradiometer survey using aii--eda~oinrrip-1~s.; ~A~total'-of-~'1;~6~ kil,omete~rs--w-as surveyed 'using 3 frequencies in conjunction with the Gradiometer in an area where weak self-potential anomalies were located on a previous survey. The target is a potential vein type ore body within a major structure. -l-
(VI PROPERTY The property consists of a total of 4 units, CAT5-CAT8, registered to W. Pochylko, Stettler. Alberta and combined into one group. The claims are located in the Golden Mining Division, 50 29' Lat, 116 15' Long., and in NTS map sheet 082K/08W, (Figures 1,21. ACCESS 0 The property is located approximately ~30.kil~ometers directly west of Invermere, B. C. The property can be reached from the Toby Creek road goes to Panorama resort. A four wheel drive road to the old Paradise mine goes north approximately 2 kilometers east of Panorama. The road to the claims is approximately 4 kilometers along this road. HISTORY The claims cover copper mineralisation in a fault zone known as the Green Ridge showing, Minfile 082KSE068. Recent excavations have covered previous workings. -2-

u GEOLOGY The geology of the area was mapped by Pope (1990). The mapping by Pope indicates that a major structure known as the Panorama-Grotto fault is located within the claims. The rocks are argillites and conglomerates near the bottom of the Horsethief Group. Quartz~ veining~ with chalcopyrite are~~.,~,r~eported from the fault zone. -5.
cj VLF/GRADPOMETEtR SURVEY (A) Specifications An EDA VLF/Gradiometer Omniplus system was used for the survey. Readings were taken at 20 meter intervals along 4 grid lines in an east-west direction. A total of 1.6 kilometers of line was surveyed. The structural trend locally is app_roximately north which gives limited station ~selection for maximum elecromagnetic coupling. The 19.8kHz signal, although fairly weak, was selected to provide maximum response. c3 (B) Results The results are presented as profiles, Figures 3-5. The results show very weak response and no major conductor can be recognised or attributed to any structures within the claims. The results from 19.8kHz, Figure 5, do suggest a possible conductor near 300E on LO. The results are very noisy and for this frequency the tilt angles were plotted instead of Inphase and at half the scale of the other 2 frequencies. The gradiometer results, Figure 3, indicated a very weak anomaly on LlOON at 80E which appears to be in the area of an old adit and the response is attributed to material used in mining operations.,ci -6-

c1 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMEND ATIONS The survey produced very weak response over what should be a major regional fault, Panorama-Grotto failit. The mineralisation reported in the area will be diffimlt tg fgllgw using the above geophysical methods. -to-
