5 Situation (Pre-landfall) Hurricane is currently a CAT 4 with wind speed of 150 mph, moving northnorthwest at 15 mph, currently located over southern Bahamas Gradual weakening and decreased storm track speed expected, but projection remains a CAT 3 landfall along SC s southern coast, in 4 days Major threat of coastal storm surge inundation and flooding along central and southern SC coast Inland flooding, high winds, and tornadic activity expected throughout southern and central conglomerates SCEMD and Charleston County EMD at OPCON 3; expect move to OPCON 2 tomorrow morning Governor announced a state of emergency and medical and general population evacuation orders may come as soon as tomorrow PM (OPCON 1)
