2 Introduction Strip wound cores or transormers and chokes Iskra, d. d. is one o the major Slovenian producers o various types o strip wound transormer cores made o oriented silicon iron steel strip. With our own production line and highly trained personnel, we ulill the requirements o local and oreign markets. To produce high-quality cores or transormer and chokes, we use an oriented silicon iron steel strip that contains % silicon. We mainly produce cores rom M-P and M0-N materials. The strip thickness is 0. and can be used up to 00 Hz. The grain oriented silicon iron steel strip Traoperm N with thickness 0.1 cover the requency range rom 00 Hz to khz. For the production o cores, we select our GOESS suppliers and ensure diligent control o production and the quality o the entire working process. All cores are measured 0% by a computer controlled measurement system MDK00A. The test reports are available or our customers in PDF orm. Additional services We also oer our customers cores insulated with a polyester ilm (Mylar oil) or cores coated with epoxy resin. Both insulations are provided with UL ile numbers. In some cases we put it in a plastic housing. All insulation materials are according to the UL V0 standard. A typical polyester ilm (Mylar oil is 0 microns thick and or wide The UL ile number is E. The cores can be coated with Resicoat EL-HLG0R (000) epoxy resin. The UL ile number is E1.

The horizontal holder and cores are wrapped with a clamp. Vertical holders o a core are ixed to the core with screws, washers and nuts Cut cores are mostly used or power transormers, chokes and special transormers. 17 Accessories, Measurements Core with holder - CU0a MDK00A computer controlled measurement system The electromagnetic properties o cores are measured by an MDK00A computer controlled measurement system. A BH curve, current and voltage shapes and their RMS values are displayed. The cores are measured in one, two or three points or by scanning. All parameters are memorized on a hard disk. The table below the diagrams shows electromagnetic values in numbers. A customer can get these results in a PDF orm by . 1
