5 Everything started with corners: Singularities with effects on fluid flows Investigations of numerical solution procedures for resulted in local influences of corner singularities. Prof. Zenger and one of his students suggested to modify the numerical grid around the corners to yield a very local influence of the corner singularities on fluid flows. He pointed out that numerical investigations do not prevent you from thinking.
