3 Calibrain Infrmain Calibrain Prcedure: Basic Descripin: AXIAL CALIBRATION: The hree lad cells (LC5, LC6, and lc7) were placed n p f he UB#300kip reference lad cell in he Tinius Olsen machine. The lad cells were laded several cycles allw he gains f he amplifiers be adjused mach he calibraed reference. LC5 and LC6 were calibraed be used as nrmal frce references 1 and 2 respecively. SHEAR CALIBRATION: The lad cells were se up as shwn in Figure 1, hen laded. The gain f he shear cndiiner was adjused such ha he shear read mached ha f LC6. MOMENT CALIBRATION: The lad cells were se up as shwn in Figure 2, hen laded.
