1 Estimated Possible Effect of Preliminary Location Standards on Current Permitted Facilities: December 2009 FASIT Rule Effort Disclaimer: This table was no more than the Agency asking staff to offer quick opinions about how applying proposed location standards might affect permitted landfills overall (in aggregate). It was assembled from a variety of available sources and the Agency has made no effort to verify its accuracy. Note also that the list is not complete, and the Agency expects the proposed location standards to change as rule language evolves. Instructions: Use the following marks as specified to keep track of the evaluation The Agency used "0" to indicate that the location standard does not appear to impact the facility The Agency used "?" to indicate that the location standard may impact the facility Type SW # Name 200 foot separation between waste footprint and property boundary within a floodplain 300 feet from a stream 1000 feet from high water mark of lake, pond, or flowage within shoreland or wild and scenic river land use within 300 feet wetland locations where air emissions of air pollutants would be a problem within karst 1000 feet and/or of nearest unstable edge of subsurface state, conditions federal, or interstate highway or boundary of public park or occupied dwelling less than 50 of overburden over carbonate or sandstone rapid and unpredictable flow with exception of clay conditions MSWs within 10,000 feet of airport with turbo jet aircraft and 5000 feet from airports with piston type aircraft Endangered species exist at location MSWs SW-89 Brown Co? 0? ?
