BIGGEST INFLUENCE Graham names his mother, Tasha Graham, as being the most influential person in his life. A cancer survivor, Tasha was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age. She spent most of her life working at a Chrysler auto plant to support Brandon and his three sisters. Recalled Tasha, The doctors told me I would never be able to have kids, so I cherish them because of that. When I was working at Chrysler, working hard, trying to make ends meet, it was for them and Brandon saw that. THE SELECT 100 Graham organized a co-ed, high school football camp in Michigan called the Select 100 that takes 10 students (five boys and five girls) from each of Detroit s 20 public schools. The inaugural camp took place in summer 2015 and helps promote teamwork, confidence through sports and self esteem. FUTURE PLANS Graham is currently nine credits shy of obtaining a degree in sports management and plans to finish following his football career. He has also taken an interest in sports broadcasting and would like to attend the NFL s Broadcast Boot Camp. HIGH SCHOOL STANDOUT Graham was a four-year starter at Crockett Vocational Technical (Detroit, MI) and earned Parade, EA Sports and USA Today firstteam All-America honors as a senior. That year, he was also named the Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year. Graham recorded 307 tackles, including 112 TFL, 56 sacks, 16 FRs, 6 FFs and 2 INTs during his high school career. Additionally, Graham averaged more than 40 yards per attempt as a punter. Outside of football, Graham lettered in basketball and track and field. Now we have kids who want to be the next Brandon. They re still following. BIRDSEED Graham is the son of Tasha Graham and Derrick Walton and has three younger sisters: Brittany, Mikayla and Brianna. Graham married Carlyne Williams during the 2014 offseason and resides in Philadelphia. The couple gave birth to their first child, daughter Emerson, in the winter of They also have a cocker spaniel named Midnight. Graham began playing football as a linebacker, center and running back for the Detroit Giants when he was 7 years old. His greatest love besides football growing up was doing flips in gymnastics. I started doing it when I was young and I just got better and better. It s really fun. I can do about 10 in a row now.
