Fields of Research My research interests concern theoretical aspects of Strongly Correlated Electronic Systems, in particular my activity has been deeply oriented toward issues connected to the physics of cuprates and pnictides High-Tc superconductors (HTSC). I am currently working both on strongly correlated theory and on weak-coupling theoretical approach in order to understand the interplay of several degrees of freedom in the rich phase diagram of unconventional superconductors. In particular I am focused on two lines of research: on one hand Im analyzing the nature and strength of correlations in multiorbital system, trying to contribute to clarify the controversy about which is the most appropriate description of iron superconductors(doped Mott insulator vs Hund metal). I am investigating the different effects that Hunds coupling has on the induced correlations, the energy scales that control this behavior and the resulting mass enhancement. On the other hand I am currently also working on the derivation of low effective model for pnictides using a weak coupling approach. I recently investigated how the emergence of the nematic state in pnictides could be connected to the orbital degrees of freedom and to topological aspect.
