6 INTRODUCTI ON 19308B MLRS, Missile Number 112 5, Round Numb.,r V-98 was launched from BRILLO, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), N~ew Mexico, at 1532:01 MST on II December 1979 The scheduled launch tinge was 1500 MST DISCUSSION Meteorological data were recorded and reduced by the White Sands Meteor,)1()gicdl Team. Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory (ASL), White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The data were obtained by the following methods: (C), 1. Observations a. Surface (1) Standard surface observations to include pressure, temperature relative humidity, dew point ( C), density (gm/m3 ), Wind direction and speed, and cloud cover were made at the D 3h -Met Site at T-0 minutes. (2) Anemometer data were provided from existing pole-mounted and tower-mounted anemometerf at LC-33. anemometer was also provided in the launch control room. b. Upper Air (1) Low level wind data were obtained from RAPTS T-9 pibal observation at: Monitor of wind speed and direction from one SITE AND ALTITUDE D 3 DENVER 2km 2km (2) Air structure data (rawinsonde) were collected at the following Met Sites. Data were collected from surface to 67,000 feet in 500-feet increments. SITE AND TIME NW MST
