Scratches and cntaminatins can degrade the sensr characteristic (see bad samples in pictures 9 and 10 belw). Hld the sensrs with plastic tweezers n the side edges nly. Sldering f the sensr The maximum temperature f the sldering irn f 320 C may nt be exceeded. Maximum heat apply with the irn must be belw 10 secnds at the very end f the cnnecting wires. The calibratin f the sensrs has t been dne 5 days after sldering at earliest. This time is needed t prvide a relaxatin after the heat induces during the sldering prcess. Avid sldering flux residues, caused by the sldering prcess, r any ther cntaminatins inside the active area f the sensr. Sldering flux residues n the utside f the sensr s active area are nt critical. If the sensr is munted with glue we recmmend baking the sensr at 80 C fr 1 hur after the gluing prcess. Cleaning f the sensr Any residues can be easily remved with isprpanl at rm temperature. Apply f lw ultrasnic energy might imprve the cleaning prcess. The sensr has t be dried after the cleaning prcess. The sensr cannt be cleaned mechanically with cttn swabs fr instance. It is pssible t clean the sensr with il free and filtered clean air, e.g. fr remving dust particles. AHW_E1.1 7/7
