Summary of Scholastic / Research Activities: Synthesis of different flame retardant polymers like polyurethanes, epoxies, polyester polyols, polyesterurethanes and their respective monomers are carried out. Various chemical and instrumental analysis techniques are used for characterization. These polymer are used for making end used products like casting, coatings, nanocomposites, etc. Flame retardant, physical, mechanical and chemical resistance properties of the products are found out.
