Primary aim of synthesizing these molecules is to find their use as potential antibacterial agents. Triclosan, diphenyl ether, is known to obstruct fatty acid biosynthesis in most bacteria by inhibiting one of the enzymes (enoyl-acp-reductase) chemistry to mold these molecules to create voids so that they can be used responsible for the same. In addition to antibacterial potential, we use synthetic organic (i) (ii) For the detection of cations or anions via electro analytical techniques. For the creation of metal-organic-framework (MOFs).
