4 Field Campaigns Tropical Cyclone Structure-2008 (TCS-08) I developed and maintained an automated web-based forecasting tool for our research group from New Mexico Tech stationed in Guam during the observing period. I later helped to expand this into an online web catalog of radar and dropsonde data from the project: Employment 2009-Present Research Assistant Physics Department and Geophysical Research Center, New Mexico Tech. Working with my advisor, Dr. David J. Raymond, as well as other members of our department, I have pursued a wide variety of research interests. To this end, I have developed numerical analysis and plotting software, and have implemented changes to cloud system resolving models and single-column atmospheric models. I have also helped to setup and maintain computing clusters and networks Student Worker Physics Department and Geophysical Research Center, New Mexico Tech. Projects included software development, atmospheric data analysis, website design and maintenance, remote data/web support for the TCS-08 project field campaign College Tutor Santa Fe Community College, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. English grammar, mathematics, writing composition, chemistry. Secondary School Tutor Alameda Middle School and Capital High School, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. I worked with students with special needs at the middle school during school hours. Sessions ranged from academics to study skills and social skills. As a tutor and academic coach with the ENLACE educational initiative, I worked with high school seniors on academic achievement and college preparatory testing skills. A central theme of this program was to develop critical thinking skills using a continuous application of the Socratic method. Special Skills Programming and analysis software: C, Fortran, Python, R, Candis, Octave, Maxima, Maple, Matlab, GRI. Familiarity with Unix, Linux, Mac OS and Windows environments.
