16 : Political Decision : In February 2003 the German ministry of education and research decided on big scientific facilities. The DESY related part of this decision says : Germany is willing to fund 50% of the project which was _formerly a part of TESLA There will be no decision of a site for TESLA until an _international committee has made its recommendations on _technology In August 2004 the International Technology Recommendation Panel (ITRP) recommended the superconducting rf technology as the technology for the linear collider IWAA 2004, CERN on Survey and Alignment Efforts at DESY Johannes Prenting, Gerhard Neubauer, MEA2 16
