1 Curriculum vitae of Maxim Yu. Khlopov Born in Moscow 5 September Father, Yuri Khlopov, is professor of technical sciences. Mother, Larisa Solnceva, is professor of theatrical arts. On finishing secondary school with gold medal reward in 1968 entered Moscow Physical Technical Institute (MPhTI). In 1974 graduated with honours from MPhTI (Diploma of Engineer-Physicist of , Moscow, duly certified English copy is available) and entered MPhTI post graduate courses, which finished in 1977 by successful presentation of thesis of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences on physical and astrophysical effects of weak interactions and got Diploma of Candidate of Science (of , Moscow; USSR/Russia equivalent of PhD, duly certified English copy is available). In 1977 Khlopov entered Ya.Zeldovich's research group and since then worked in the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (KIAM) of former USSR Academy of Sciences (USSR AS) now Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). In 1983 he was rewarded by USSR AS diploma for young scientists for collection of papers on weak interactions and astrophysics. In 1986 Khlopov successfully presented the thesis of doctor of physical and mathematical sciences on astrophysical effects of superweak interactions and obtained the Diploma of Doctor of Science (of , Moscow; highest scientific degree in USSR/Russia, duly certified English copy is available). In Khlopov was visiting scientist in the USSR AS Special Astrophysical Observatory (SAO), N.Arkhyz, North Caucasus, in the position of chief theoretical research. In was elected as the Member of the SAO Scientific Council, where he was in charge of its Committee on Advanced Studies and International Relations. In Khlopov was the Chair of SAO Scientific Seminar on Cosmoparticle Physics. In he has given in SAO a 20-hour course of lectures on cosmoparticle physics for astronomers. In he was the head of temporary SAO research group on cosmoparticle physics. In Khlopov was Scientific Secretary of the founded by A.D.Sakharov under charge of Presidium of USSR AS Scientific Council of USSR AS on Cosmoparticle Physics. Since 1990 on leave from SAO occupies in KIAM permanent position of Chief theoretical research (at present - on leave of absence). He is the Chair of the KIAM Scientific Seminar on Cosmoparticle physics. Since 1991 Khlopov is the Full professor of Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, where he gives each year Semester course «Introduction into Cosmoparticle physics» for fifth year students, studying experimental high energy physics. He is in charge of specialization "Cosmology and particle physics", supervisor of students and PhD students, specialized in it, co-supervisor of 4 and supervisor of 5 proven or prepared PhD thesis and of 1 proven thesis of Doctor of Science. He is the author of 8 textbooks on cosmology and particle physics. In 1992 Khlopov takes active part in the foundation of Center for Cosmoparticle Physics (CCPP) «Cosmion» on the base of Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics of Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of Russian Ministry of Science and Technological Policy. Since the foundation of CCPP Cosmion he occupies the position of its Director being responsible for its National and International scientific policy. Since 1996 he is also the Chair of Scientific Coordinating Committee of CCPP. In 1992 Khlopov became Scientific coordinator of the National project «Cosmoparticle physics» that maintained in the base of the respective Section of Russian Federal Program «Astronomy. Fundamental Space Research». In this project was performed within the State contract with Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology of Russian Federation.
2 In he was the Member of Bureau of V.Rubakov's Scientific Council of RAS on Cosmology and Particle Physics. In Khlopov was the Member of the Russian Federal Program Committee on Astronomy and Fundamental Space Research. Since 1993 he is continuously elected the Member of Presidium of Russian Gravitational Society (RGS). In Khlopov was the Scientific Coordinator of the International project ASTROBELIX, joining astronomers of SAO and physists, undertaking OBELIX experiment, in astroparticle studies. In Khlopov was the Scientific Coordinator of the International Astroparticle Studies of Dark, Decaying and Annihilating Matter in the Universe (ASTRODAMUS project), performed with a high priority in the framework of Russian-Italian agreement on scientific collaboration. As a part of this program Khlopov gave in each year courses of lectures «Introduction to cosmoparticle physics» for PhD students of University of Trieste. In Khlopov was the Scientific Coordinator of the International project Cosmion-ETHZ, performed within the Contract with ETHZ (Switzerland) to reveal the cosmoparticle physics aspects of AMS experiment. In Khlopov was the Scientific Coordinator of the International project Eurocos-AMS, performed within the Contract with ECT* (Italy) to reveal the cosmoparticle physics aspects of AMS experiment. In Khlopov was the Member of Bureau of I.Khalatnikov's Scientific Council of RAS on Relativistic Astrophysics and Gravity. As the Member of Scientific Organizing Committee he took part in the organization of Russian participation and in the proceedings of the International Conference «Very early Universe «in Gaeta (Italy) July 30-August From 1995 Khlopov is the Member of Scientific Editorial Board of the new Journal «Gravitation and Cosmology «, published by RGS. Since 1999 Khlopov is the Member of Astronomical Council of Russian Academy of Sciences, responsible for coordination of research in Cosmology and particle physics. In Khlopov s studies were also supported by State Grant of Support for Russian Scientific School of I.M.Khalatnikov-A.A.Starobinsky. On the base of Cosmion, starting from 1994 he organized and chaired Monthly Seminar on Cosmoparticle physics, being additional effective form of coordination of scientific activities of initially more than 40 scientific groups from more than 20 Russian Institutes, participating the project Cosmoparticle physics, as well as he chairs the Scientific Coordinating Council on this project. On the base of Cosmion with the support of Russian Ministry of Science and Technological Policy and Russian Foundation for Basic Research Khlopov participates as the Chair of National Scientific Organizing Committee the organization and proceedings of 1 International Conference on Cosmoparticle physics «Cosmion-94», dedicated to 80 Anniversary of Ya.Zeldovich and to 5 Memorial of A.Sakharov, held in Moscow 4-14 December of He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Proceedings of this Conference, published by Editions Frontieres (1996). He was the Chair of National Scientific Organizing Committee of the 2 International Conference «Astronomy. Cosmoparticle Physics», dedicated to 75 Anniversary of A.Sakharov (Cosmion-96), held in Moscow May 25 - June , the Chair of National Scientific Organizing Committee of the 3 International Conference on Cosmoparticle Physics, dedicated to 10th Memorial of Ya. Zeldovich (Cosmion-97), held in Moscow 5-12 December 1997, the Chair of National Scientific Organizing Committee of the 4 International Conference

Khalatnikov (Cosmion-99), held in Moscow October 1999, the Chair of National Scientific Organizing Committee of the 5 International Conference on Cosmoparticle Physics, dedicated to 80 Anniversary of A.Sakharov (Cosmion- 2001), held in Moscow and St.-Petersburg May 2001, the Chair of Scientific Organizing Committee of 6 International Conference on Cosmoparticle physics «Cosmion-2004«, dedicated to 90 Anniversary of Ya.Zeldovich, held in Moscow - St.Petersburg Paris/Meudon on 2-16,20-24 of September He was Editor-in Chief of the Proceedings of all these conferences, published by «Gravitation and Cosmology». In Khlopov occupied the 2-year MIUR (Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research) position of the Full professor in the Physics Department of 1 Rome University "La Sapienza" and charged his Research project "Cosmoparticle physics of cosmic rays and CMB". He gave courses of lectures «Introduction to cosmoparticle physics» and «Physics of primordial Universe» for PhD students of 1, 2 and 3 Rome Universities. In Khlopov occupied visiting positions in INFN Section Lecce (Italy), Centre of Studies at very Low temperatures (CRTBT, Grenoble, France), Laboratory of Subnuclear Physics and Cosmology (LPSC, Grenoble, France). Since 2007, retaining his MEPhI and Cosmion positions, he is in charge of the project of Virtual Institute of Astroparticle physics, based on APC laboratory CNRS, France. Khlopov is the author of 25 books, textbooks and chapters in books. They include the Monographs Cosmoparticle physics, World Scientific, 1999 (596 pp.), "Cosmological Pattern of Microphysics in Inflationary Universe", Kluwer Academic Publishers (295pp.) and "Basics of Cosmoparticle Physics", URSS, Moscow, 2004 and 2011 (368pp.), Fundamentals of Cosmic particle Physics, CISP-Springer, Cambridge, 2012 (431pp).
