24 Our students can have admission to the Sapienza PhD programs in: Physics Astronomy Accelerator physics IRAP-PhD The Rome Astronomy PhD (Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space science) is one of the three (besides the one in Bologna and Padova) in Italy: Sapienza + Tor Vergata + INAF 11 positions (with grant) The roman area is rich of astrophysics institutes: Roma 1, Roma 2, Roma 3, INAF-OAR, INAF-IAPS, ESA-ESRIN, CNR, ASI, PhD abroad: our students have always got excellent positions abroad but the international collaborations are numerous Aerospace industry is largely present in Lazio
