4 FHS For ensics Day Next Monday 11th March, Year 6 students will travel to Finley High School to take part in their Forensics Day. The students will leave Sacred Heart in time to arrive for the 10:00am start. "Case of Identity" is the brief for the day's activities. Finley High Year 9 students will host the Yr 6 students for the day's proceedings. There will be two breaks on the day 11:30 for Recess and then 1:10 for lunch. Lunch will be held on the oval where rocket activities will have the spectators in awe!! Students are asked to bring their recess & lunch on the day. Students will depart Finley at 1:50pm arriving back at Sacred Heart for normal bus pickups. Ms Leah Ryan and Mrs Beverley Babington have generously offered to transport our students. Diocesan Swimming Car nival In cool weather conditions our swim team acquitted themselves very well in Wagga yesterday at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival.

5 Diocesan Swimming Car nival In cool weather conditions our swim team acquitted themselves very well in Wagga yesterday at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival. The team comprising of Ella Baldwin, Maddison & Milly Cummins, Nate Grieves, Charlie Haynes, Jake Hicks, Ella Hollister, Imogen Jones, Cooper Mangion, Kate Purtill, Mason Smallwood & George & Jack Wiles Most if not all managed to improve on their previous Personal Best times. Some of the results were: Ella Hollister in the 50m Backstroke improved her PB by 3 secs & in 50m Freestyle improved by 2 secs. George Wiles improved his PB in 50m Backstroke by 7 secs. Nate Grieves in 100m Freestyle improved his PB by 6 secs. Kate Purtill improved her PB in 50m Freestyle by 3 secs & 50m Breaststroke by 2 secs. Mason Smallwood improved his PB in 50m Freestyle by 2 secs. Jack Wiles improved his PB in 50m Backstroke by 8 secs. In the PP5 relays the Senior Mixed team comprising of Ella Baldwin, Ella Hollister, Nate Grieves & Kate Purtill their PB by 3 secs and the Senior Boys with swimmers Nate Grieves, Jack Wiles, Jake Hicks and Cooper Mangion managed to better their time by an amazing 11 seconds. A wonderful effort by all concerned. Although not good enough to go onto Sydney the team should be very, very proud of their efforts. A big thank you to all the parents and Mrs Jones for making the trip and supporting the troops at the event. Congratulations everyone on representing Sacred Heart a job well done!!
