87 TERMS AND CONDITIONS Freight Charges Pottery Merchant ships most orders free of charge. The few exceptions are orders shipped outside of normal service areas or orders that do not meet minimums. Please see your sales representative for the minimum in your area. There is a 10% freight allowance for orders not meeting free freight minimum (Pottery Merchant will deduct 10% of your order s value from the freight charge). Order pick-up/will-call orders We are not a retail location and are not set up for customers to shop. If you are wanting to pick up your order, please submit the order to orders@potterymerchant.com with a minimum lead time of 48 hours (work days not including the weekends). We will let you know when it will be available for pick up. Order add-ons Please submit your order as you would like to receive it. We can take add-ons to the order for up to 24 hours after receipt of the initial order. For efficiency in our warehouse, we can no longer take add-on orders after the 24- hour window. Damages & Discrepancies Pottery Merchant stands behind its products and shipping logistics, but damage and shortages do occur. Please inspect loads as soon as possible. Pottery Merchant considers 10 days a reasonable time within which to inspect your order. Common carriers will not issue credit if receipt of the delivery is signed off without any damage noted. Sign common carrier bills subject to inspection if they cannot be inspected at the time of delivery. Damage claims over 2% cannot be honored if not made within 10 days of delivery. Factory/manufacturing defects must be reported within 6 months of receipt to be eligible for a credit. Pallets We want our pallets back! We will be including a pallet deposit for all local deliveries (this does not apply to common carrier orders) of $5/pallet. This is a deposit that will be credited when we are able to pick up the pallet during the next delivery. Discounts We offer a 10% off complete pallet discount. This discount is only offered for complete pallet quantities of one style that do not require labels being applied to the product. Restocking Fee Once an official order has been processed and delivered, a 20% restocking or cancellation fee will apply to all merchandise returned. Past Due Finance Charges Normal finance terms for overdue accounts will apply: 1.5% / month for monies overdue 30 days or more.
