You have to chop down the Rainforest to grow it -98% will be gone in the next 10 years Burning the Rainforest creates pollution Hundreds of endangered Orangutans have been killed The local tribes such as the Dayak loose their homes How can this be managed (the damage reduced) RSPO is a certification that can be given to plantations who produce palm oil in a sustainable way. Encourage more small scale palm oil production so less forest is damaged Encourage palm oil on land that has already used and not on areas of untouched rainforest.
