In this unit, children learn of the important role played by lyrics in songs. Term 3 The Tudors Term 4 Discovering the Galapagos Music: Performing Together This unit develops and demonstrates children's ability to take part in a class performance with confidence, expression and control. Term 5 Living Things Term 6 Water Worlds Music: Exploring Musical Processes This unit provides an opportunity for children to develop and demonstrate the musical skills, knowledge and understanding achieved in years 5 and 6. Football Gymnastics Netball Tag Rugby Orienteering/Cricket PE Athletics: Art: 3D Study the Victorian artist and craftsman William Morris - Use clay to Produce intricate patterns and textures based on plants Artist Kurt Jackson (bees) Art: Painting Symbols War and Peace (dove, poppy) Art: College Use the work of Holbein as a stimulus to create Tudor portraits in egg tempera on wood.
