The DFT calculations and the semiempirical PM3 calculations on the compounds are used for finding the energies of molecules, the electronic charges on the atoms, the bond orders, the electronic densities, the moment de dipole for the new designed molecules. Synthesis, purification and characterization new heterocyclic compounds, particularly sim-octahydroacridines and perhidroacridines and also other molecules biologically active with antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Synthesis and characterization of new heterocyclic compounds with NMR, MS, UV-Vis, IR spectra. Studies of new compounds as nanoparticules sim-octahydroacridinic (polymeric nanoparticles as drug carriers, semiconductor particles, magnetic nanoparticles). Studies of fluorescence for new sim-octahydroacridinic compounds as fluorescence compounds, on the one hand and as quenchers compounds, on the other hand. Correlations of this new fluorescence properties with biologic properties if these. Application of these fluorescence properties in pharmaceutical chemistry, to obtain colloidal films with improved biological properties. Development of novel colloidal systems for cosmetical and pharmaceutical use (nanoparticles, emulsions, microemulsions). Modeling the active substance- colloidal drug carrier interaction ; modeling the interaction with the biological membrane. Extraction of volatile oils from plants and determining of the composition, antioxidant activity, biological properties, applications in medicine and cosmetics. PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Synthesis and characterization of the compounds sym-octahydroacridinic and perhidroacridinic. Studies of 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy on sym-octahidroacridinic compounds. A good linear correlation between the 1 H and 13 C NMR chemical shifts of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydroacridine, some of its 9-substituted derivatives, and of the corresponding N-oxides. Experimental evidence of the difference in the anisotropy effect of the two nonsymmetrical moieties of the pyridine nucleus in case of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-9-(3-pyridyl)acridine, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-9-(4-pyridyl)acridine and the corresponding N(10)-oxides, on the basis of 400 MHz 1 H NMR spectra and proton proton decoupling, HMQC and NOEDIFF experiments. 3 For the 9-substituent effects in 9-substituted-sym-octahydroacridines and their N-oxides a good linear correlations with the Taft and Swain-Lupton substituent constants. A good correlation of 15 N chemical shifts of both octahydroacridines and their N-oxides with the 13 C chemical shifts of the para-carbons in analogously substituted benzene derivatives For sym-octahydroacridinic compounds, magnitudes of the N-oxidation effects (shielding) correlate linearly with the Taft and Swain Lupton substituent constants, as well as with the bond orders of the N+ O bonds in the corresponding N-oxides. The evaluation of the Taft and Swain-Lupton substituent constants for the diacetylamino group ( NAc2) from the 15 N data.
