Highlights of Skills and expertise: Well proven practical skills in planning and executing isolation and structure elucidation of isolated metabolites from Natural Sources (marine, plants, fungi) Expertise in chromatographic techniques such as HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography, analytical and preparative), LCMS, Centrifugal partition chromatography, VLC, SPE and other chromatographic Techniques for the isolation of pure bioactive secondary metabolites. Expertise in the growing of terrestrial fungi using liquid and solid media. Expertise in NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Varian, Bruker and Jeol) data interpretation as well as acquiring the data. Ability to collect data and interpret MS (Mass spectrometry) and NMR spectra for structure elucidation of complex biological molecules and 2

3 identification of natural products. Recording and analyzing data in computerized formats and executing spectroscopic (NMR and MS) analysis. Good written and communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative/ industrial environments.
