Please find attached bulletin drawing M3.1A1 showing the Make Up Water Detail. 5. Line sie check valves are required at the outlet of each boiler. 6. A backflow preventer is not required for the project. 7. Piping 2 or larger shall have minimum 2 thick insulation. All piping 1-1/2 or smaller shall have minimum 1-1/2 thick insulation. 8. All components shown on plan, unless identified as existing to remain or existing to be reused, shall be provided as new.
9. New breech is 12, but the existing stack is 10. Please provide the following pricing: a. Base bid: Provide a new 12 double wall galvanied steel stack routed to the roof directly above the boiler breech manifold to 24 above the roof with cover as recommended by boiler manufacturer. b.
