Showers should favor southern and eastern areas today, then favor far southern and northwestern areas on Tuesday. Showers should build across western areas on Wednesday and Thursday, then spread into eastern areas on Friday. Amounts will be 0.25 to 1.5, locally 2.5, with 95% coverage. Wetter and cooler conditions in southern and eastern areas this week will improve conditions for corn and soybeans. The 6-10 day outlook is drier in central areas. Showers should build across western areas on Wednesday and Thursday, then spread into eastern areas on Friday.
