ي Abstract Farooq s Oratory Speechen Astylistic Study Supervisor Professor Dr Zuhdi Abdul Raouf The purpose of this thesis is to the study the rhetoric of the Al-Farooq through a detailed study of this literary genre, in terms of artistic construction The study was divided into three chapters; in the first chapter I covered two research topics First topic an introduction, and the importance of the study and its objectives, determinants, terminology, theoretical literature, and the previous studies I dealt with in the second topic the definition of rhetoric and language idiomatically, and progression of pre-islamic era until the age of Al-Rashidi era The second chapter covered the life of Al-Faruq -Umar ibn al-khattab may Allah be pleased with him- and the aspects that characterizes his public speak such as political, religious, social, and military aspects The third chapter to talk about the stylistic phenomena in rhetoric of Al- Faruq from the inclusion, rhyme, contradiction, repetition, and statement; then the results and recommendations
