PAGE ESTATES Water Management Report PURPOSE: To analyze the water management requirements for the driveway at Page Estates, located at 3455 Gordon Drive, in Collier County, Florida. EXISTING FACILITIES: Page Estates is located at 3455 Gordon Drive, in Port Royal, Florida. The site is currently partially developed with a single home site. The parcel has been platted into three (3) home sites. There is an existing residence adjacent to the bay, while the remaining home sites remain vacant. There currently are no water management facilities in place. The pond functions independently at the current time and is fed through underground PROPOSED FACILITIES: Through permitting with the City, each lot will provide its own water management in accordance with the City s Storm Water Ordinance at the time of permitting for home construction. The driveway will provide 1 inch over the entire parcel or 2.5 inches over the impervious, whichever is greater. Water quality will be provided in the existing pond. Stormwater will be routed to the pond through inlets and pipes, and discharged to the lake. From there, it will be routed through the lake, around a rock dam, and discharge through a control structure that will route it to Champney Bay. A. DRAINAGE INFORMATION 1. The following design storms were used for this project: 25 Year, 3 day rainfall = 12.0 inches 2. The runoff hydro graphs were created using the SFWMD Routing Model Cascade 2001 (Version 1.0) program. 3. Time of concentration (t c ) = 2(Total site area/640) 0.5 = 2(0.35/640) 0.5 = 0.05 hours Use tc = 0.50 hours

B. SITE DATA Total Drainage Basin =0.35 ac 100.0% Impervious Pavement/Curb =0.21 ac 68.5% Water Management (dry =0.10 ac 31.4% Pervious General open space =0.04 ac 11.4% C. WATER QUALITY ANALYSIS The driveway has been analyzed utilizing the greater of the first inch of runoff versus 2.5 times the percentage of imperviousness. 1. Compute the first inch of runoff from the developed project: = (1 ")(0.35 ac)(1' /12") = 0.03 ac-ft 2. Compute 2.5 inches times the percentage of imperviousness: Site area for water quality pervious/impervious calculations only: = Basin Area - (water surface + roof) = 0.35 ac- (0.10 ac + 0 ac) = 0.25 ac of site area for water quality pervious/impervious Impervious area for water quality pervious/impervious calculations only: = (Site area for water quality pervious/impervious) - pervious = 0.25 ac 0.04 ac = 0.21 ac of impervious area for water quality Percentage of imperviousness for water quality: = (Impervious area for water quality/site area for water quality) * 100 = (0.21 ac /0.25 ac) * 100 = 84.0% impervious For 2.5 inches times the percentage impervious: = 2.5 * 0.84 = 2.1 to be treated Compute the volume required for water quality detention: = inches to be treated * (total site - water management) = 2.1 * (0.35 0.10 ac) * (1 /12") = 0.04 ac-ft

0.04 > 0.03 so the first inch of runoff over the entire site controls water quality requirements. Setting the main weir at elevation 14.35 by interpolating from the stage-storage table can contain this quantity. Here's how the elevation is calculated... D. BLEEDER DESIGN (1.2-0.65)/(0.12-0) = (X 0.65)/( 0.04-0) 4.58 = (X- 0.65)/(0.04) 0.14 = (X-0.65) 0.83 = X The bleeder is designed to allow 0.5" of runoff from the entire drainage basin to discharge in a period of 24 hours. The flow rate is calculated as follows: Q bleeder = (0.5" / 24 hours)(0.35 acres)(l' / 12")(43,560 ft 2 / acre)(1 hour / 3600 sec) = 0.01 cfs allowed in 24 hour period. A 3-inch circular orifice is used in the model. The equation for the flow rate of a circular orifice is as follows: Q orifice = (4.81)(Area) 2 (Head) 0.5 Q orifice = (4.81)(( (0.25) 2 )/4)(1.35) 0.5 = 0.24 cfs E. ALLOWABLE DISCHARGE Allowable discharge for the temporary campus was based on prior permitting that allows for 0.15 cfs per acre to be discharged through the water control structure during the 25- year design storm. Total Allowable Discharge = 0.35 ac * 0.15 = 0.05 cfs The control structure has been designed to discharge using a circular bleeder with a 3-inch diameter orifice (minimum allowable size) at elevation 0.65 NAVD and a drop inlet elevation 2.28 N.A.V.D. Maximum discharge is 0.24 cfs. The elevation of the drop inlet was modified to provide additional water quality and provide space for the orifice.

PAGE ESTATES Lake Filling Report PURPOSE: This application is a request for an approval of the Lake Filling Application as applied for in Page Estates, located at 3455 Gordon Drive, in Collier County, Florida. EXISTING FACILITIES: Page Estates is located at 3455 Gordon Drive, in Port Royal, Florida. The site is currently partially developed with a single home site. The parcel has been platted into three (3) home sites, with the existing lake partially located on Lot 2 and the majority of the lake is located on Lot 3. The lake s size is currently 4,882 SF in size. It has been eroded over the years, is fed from an underground source and currently does not function in a storm water capacity. PROPOSED FACILITIES: The current application requests the filling of 602 SF of area. The proposed lake filling will add the addition of 50 linear feet of retaining wall and the addition of 96 linear feet of littoral zone to offset the retaining wall. The lake will function in a storm water capacity by utilizing it to treat the runoff from the roadway. A rock dam will be added to the pond displacing approximately 840 cf of storage (assuming % voids 0.40) but providing a diversion adding significant travel time to the incoming stormwater prior to discharge for water quality purposes. Maintenance for the stormwater pipes coming into the pond and discharging to the bay will be the owners of Lots 1 and 2, maintenance of the pond will be Mr. Purse. A control structure will be installed on the southeast corner of the pond providing water quality for the driveway, all of the lots will be required to provide water quality as required per the City requirements for new homes within their lots. A. DRAINAGE INFORMATION 1. The following design storms were used for this project: 25 Year, 3 day rainfall = 12.0 inches 2. Site area = 0.35 acres Impervious = 0.21 acres Pervious = 0.04 acres Pond = 0.10 acres B. WATER QUALITY ANALYSIS The driveway has been analyzed utilizing the greater of the first inch of runoff versus 2.5 times the percentage of imperviousness. 2.5 inches times the impervious equals 0.04 acre-feet vs 1 inch over the entire site at 0.03 acre-feet, we will be providing 0.04 acrefeet of water quality. The pond has adequate volume available above the Wet Season Water Table to provide the necessary stormwater treatment for the driveway. The pond s wet season water table is equivalent to approximately 0.63 N.A.V.D. By adding 0.04

acre-feet to the pond for water quality, we will raise the pond by 0.13 feet overall. By utilizing the pond for stormwater runoff, and adding a control structure, the pond will maintain a healthy biological state, provide water quality to the driveway, and provide a discharge route to the bay where it will not add to the natural flooding of Gordon Drive. It will attract water life and flourish in the proposed application. The control structure has been designed to discharge using a circular bleeder with a 3- inch diameter orifice at elevation 0.65 NAVD and a drop inlet at elevation 1.35 N.A.V.D.
