Implementation Status and Key Decisions loan became effective on May 21, 2014. Total disbursement to date is US$14.57 million (12.1% of the total loan amount). Progress has been made in all components, yet overall implementation of the project is still behind the original schedule. To date, three works contracts, four goods contracts and three consulting contracts have been signed, totaling about US$31.57 million. Civil works of Huangshuihe Bridge (the first signed works contract) has progressed on schedule and 29% has been completed in financial terms. Procurement of the remaining works and goods contracts have started. Counterpart funds of RMB 574 million was made available for completing all resettlement activities under the project. Demolition of structures for all project roads have been completed and most of the land required for road construction has been made available. 6/27/2016 Page 2 of 9
