Mission Increasing the visibility of chemistry at the European level by speaking with a single voice Creating European corporate identity among the chemical societies Presenting chemistry as an essential and indispensible provider of solutions to global challenges to European and international organizations

Governance European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences New Constitution adopted by an extraordinary General Assembly 1. Membership: New definition of membership (Ordinary Members, Supporting Members) allows different types of organizations to become EuCheMS members Application of 2 organizations for Supporting Membership 2. Voting in the General Assembly: Double majority was replaced by an assigned number of votes per Member 3. Clearer definition of competences, tasks and composition of the EuCheMS bodies Support of financially weaker member societies Executive Board 8 elected members, 6 appointed members, 3 ex-officio members (presiding council), 1 permanent guest (EYCN) 4 meetings in 2014: Brussels (12.2.), Frankfurt (20.6.), Istanbul (31.8.), Torun (22.10.)
