To aid the development of parameterization for cumulus and microphysics, we need enhanced observing capability of! - cloud microphysics (airborne, cloud penetrating)! - cloud environment (automated balloon-sonde launchers, DIAL+RAMAN lidar)! - cloud population statistics and stochasticity (multi-wavelength radars)! 2.
