Academic Career: : guest scientist at the Max Planck institute for the physics of complex systems : postdoctoral fellow at the physics department, University of Toronto : PhD student in the College of Optics and Photonics/CREOL- University of Central Florida, PhD thesis title: Nonlinear optics in interacting nano- suspension systems : Research Assistant at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, working on bio- electromagnetics : Research Assistant at the Electronics Research Institute (ERI) in Cairo, Egypt. Research experience: 1. Theory and applications of non- Hermitian optics (Parity- time (PT) symmetry in optics). 2. Quantum effects inside photonic crystal structures. 3.
